The Manors arrived at the tail end of a string of rainy days and gorgeous nights. It was strange. One of the things Beth, my mother-in-law, wanted to do was get pictures of the Paris bridges at sunset. Well, the third night of their visit we ate dinner and casually strolled through the Louvre. The light was doing amazing things as sunset approached.
We arrived on the Seine to witness one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve seen since arriving in Paris. The combination of the rosy gold light and the dark storm sky in the background made for striking photos.
And the lighting changed each minute as the sunset progressed.
And, of course, we took some family photos…everyone looks a bit sunburned!
And yes, it started to rain…so out came the umbrellas.

So good to see the Manors. You all look wonderful. What a brilliant evening you were blessed with! Fabulous place and time to be together.
That is a golden light! So beautiful!
Magical sunset!!! You’ve captured it beautifully!!!
