Pop and Sol have arrived!

Pop and Sol flew into London on Friday and arrived here in Edinburgh on Saturday – which was also Pop’s birthday.  It’s been so fun to have them here – sharing our lives with them and just being able to be around them.  Today we explored Edinburgh – Princes Street, the Royal Mile, Parliament, etc.  We also were able to fit in the Farmer’s Market where we purchased venison and other Scottish specialties for Pop’s birthday dinner.  Having people you love visit the place that you live in is so meaningful and I’m so happy that they are here.

The breakfast looks wonderful, as do the awesome architectural sights! Caffe presse and little breakfast nook–you all look very much like you belong there. Bec, your flower photos are exquisite!
