Doors Open Day

Saturday was gorgeous!  The weather could not have been more perfect and we took full advantage of it!  We got together with some friends, headed to the Farmer’s Market and then hit the streets making our way to the Drumsheugh Baths, the Mineral Well, the Nelson Monument, and the John Knox House.  I’ll let the photos mostly speak for themselves but you’ll see, it was a perfectly autumnal day.

Is that Nelson as in Lord/Admiral Nelson?
Also that pump is really stunning. To think of the labor involved in making such a thing. And of course it still works right?

I love all the pics of Edinburgh! The poses of John Knox in his house are super! I especially like the pic of Scotty and Becca together. It is long past the time you blogged on Mimi’s house in Chautauqua, Becca, but that was so lovely of you to do that. It brought back such happy memories of the week you two were here. I’m back up at Chautauqua for 3 weeks and looking forward to Tim coming on Wednesday and Mimi’s birthday on the 16th. Blessings to you both…

Thank you Bethy. I had so much fun photographing Mimi’s house. I would love to spend more time trying to get picture of all the unique little corners and cubby-holes.
