Sayulita continued…

Here’s more pics from our fantastic Berg family vacation:

Mom and Tot

Josh and Solomon paddling to catch a wave

View of Sayulita at night.

Town square at night - seriously every night there was some sort of party complete with fireworks, cherry bombs, mariachi, and lots of noise.

Hilly and Ashton - he really stole the show! Isn't he the cutest thing ever??

Josh doing a bit of carving...or is he about to wipe out?

Tot and Josh

Ashton already loves books...yes, he is 1/2 Berg! And his grandma is so proud!

Sunset

Palopa at sunset - seriously the best place to be!

Another sunset shot...

Feliz Navidad! Even Santa can't resist a Mexican beer.

Me and Katie

Scotty and Josh playing "Monkey in the Middle" in the pool. There were some pretty fierce games played throughout the week!

I have no words...

Ashton James and James Ashton

Drinks at Casa Amore

The whole gang...

Goofing around...

It was a great week of resting, relaxing, laughing, talking and just enjoying time together.  We ate way too many Sayulita Fish Tacos, enjoyed a few too many pancakes at Rollies, haggled with local salespeople, searched for the right peppers for chili rellenos, tried out our Spanglish, and dodged falling iguanas.  It was perfect…and I cannot tell you how nice it was to be in warm humidity.  Not having to use lotion, chapstick or conditioner for a week was marvelous.  Funnily enough I didn’t end up taking that many pictures while I was down there.  I just wanted to soak up each moment and while I felt some pressure to capture all the fun on film, it was better to just enjoy it.  Thank you Mom and Pop for such an incredible trip!

Katie and Tot look like little Egyptian children in these pictures. I want you to post some stories from Sayulita so that I can remember it all better, ha ha.
