BST brings Spring

On Sunday we turned our clocks up one hour! Nights are now shorter and I am eagerly anticipating long summer evenings. To mark British Summer Time it felt fitting to make a visit to the Botanical Gardens – one of my favorite spots here in Edinburgh. Scotty and I enjoyed a couple of hours taking in the beauty. The Gardens were in various stages of bloom – I really do think there are little micro-climates in the gardens as some areas still looked stark and bleak and others were in fully bloom. So fun to see! There was also a wedding set up outside complete with a bagpiper!

Here’s some of the most remarkable blooms and buds we spotted.

Doesn't this look fantastical?

The bark on this tree is absolutely gorgeous - it looks like antique copper.

Ahh spring! We’ve been waiting for you for a long time – it’s good to see signs that you’re here. Don’t forget, the Music Giveaway is closing tonight!
