The morning of Josh and Grace’s wedding was beautiful. The Berg backyard was flooded with people who love these two–all wanting to pitch-in! Here’s a few more pictures of the wedding coming together – along with a few wedding pictures I’ve poached from Facebook.
The tables went up very quickly.
And the dance floor gets a last minute scrubbing.
Keli and Scotty unwrap the catering rentals.
Pop spreading out the DG. In the Berg family we know that DG never refers to an Italian design duo but decomposed granite gravel.
Solomon hauling glasses while overseeing the overall design.
Scotty had the fun task of sorting place cards. I'd printed them the night before but they'd somehow gotten all mixed up so this was not the easiest of jobs.
The kitchen was a hub of activity. On the left is Lisa, a long-time friend, who flew out from Boston for the wedding and promptly pitched in, helping me design programs, folding napkins, setting up place settings, and much more.
Grandma with Tot. We were so glad that Grandma was able to make the trip from southern California. It was so fun to see her watching all the chaos, smiling and getting a kick out of all of us.
It's coming together! Due to the nice sunshine I don't have any pictures of the tables with flowers - we had to wait until after the ceremony to put them out and at that point I was past any attempt at pictures, knowing that the pros would do much better than I could.
And suddenly it was time for the wedding! But before I get to that, I think I should give a shout-out to all the people who so cheerfully pitched in and made this day as amazing as it was. I think that was one of the things that most impressed me during the course of the weekend was all the people who really love Josh and Grace and who wanted to be a part of this celebration. Special kudos to Pat Atkins (she’s been a part of all three Berg weddings!), Kelli and Tom, Lisa, Becca, Olivia, and Travis. You guys were awesome.
Again, I seriously cannot wait to see the professional pictures, but here’s some that have been emailed and facebooked.
